Wendy Hunter, President
Wendy Hunter has been working in construction management and commercial development in one form or another for 30 years. Wendy earned a BS in Pre-Architecture from the Innovational Projects Board of the State University of New York at Binghamton, and studied Historic Preservation at Columbia University in New York. Wendy worked in-house with the Pennsylvania Avenue Development Corporation in DC, the Washington DC Region of McDonalds Corporation, and Brinker International, before starting HunterDG in 1998. Wendy has a passion for successfully guiding companies through the growing pains of concept roll-out and cross training team members of real estate, construction, legal in the development process. HunterDG was formed to help companies train and establish in-house development teams, creating procedures and methods of successful and consistent concept growth unique to the specific needs of each client. A resident of Colorado, Wendy loves to give new life to existing residential and commercial properties, traveling, and being “Mimi” to her grandchildren.
Melanie Bagley, VP Development
Melanie Bagley is a native Texan, who earned a BS in Construction Technology at the University of Oklahoma. While at OU, Melanie also served as the President of Delta Gamma, the oldest and largest women’s fraternity in the US, known for its philanthropic endeavors towards the visually impaired and for US Veterans. Upon graduation, Melanie returned to the Dallas area, where she has been working alongside Wendy Hunter at HunterDG for 10 years and serves now as Vice President of Development. In this role, Melanie oversees individual client projects while generating strong relationships with both colleagues and consultants to encourage production and growth within HunterDG as well as for our clients. Melanie has a background in residential construction, which is where she met her groom, Clay, a high-end residential builder. Melanie enjoys home remodeling, interior decorating and golfing, if time allows. Melanie and Clay have two precious daughters, and reside in Dallas.
Melissa McPherson, Senior Project Manager
Melissa McPherson is a Colorado resident, educated at the University of North Texas, in a combined major of English and History. For 10 years, Melissa successfully owned and operated a 137-acre farm before moving into the world of court reporting, licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas. HunterDG was fortunate enough to recruit Melissa away from the courtrooms of Texas in 2009, to build the utility research and coordination division of our company. As a Senior Project Manager, Mel is dedicated in her client services, each of who depend upon her expertise to directly impact their operating weeks. Having relocated to Colorado with HunterDG three years ago, Mel is now an avid fan of snowshoeing and hiking, and continues her passions for tennis and golf as well.
